New Year Resolutions; Again!

What a wonderful prospect! We have the opportunity to make plans and set goals for 2011. I don't know about you guys but I am pretty happy to see the end of last year. I think it was a pretty rough ride for most people on the planet. Here among our little group there is a positive vibe and expectancy for good things to come. Sunday morning gathering revolved around the proclamation Paul made in the 1st letter to the Christians in Corinth specifically the 2nd chapter. I used it as a springboard to launch a proclamation of my own for our services we are rendering in 2011. It boils down to the following;
  1. We want to follow Jesus in simplicity, in other words stick to the message of the cross.
  2. We also wish to experience the power of the Spirit in understanding the mysteries of God so that we can apply those principles needed to walk in our destiny to rule. We want to fulfil our Adamic mandate and to govern our world in Christ.
  3. When we appropriate the truth that "we have received the mind of Christ" His ressurrection power will manifest through us in love. We will indeed then do the things He did and even greater.
Much of His miracolous power has already manifested in the healing of broken hearts and many of the minds previously warped by addiction and lies have mended, but we want to walk in that full revelation as Paul and the early disciples did. By obeying the Word so far, we have seen the Spirit heal organs and other minor ailmants, however we trust that it is just a forerunner of what is yet to come.

Taking this stand and publicly making it known has put Annatjie and myself in a position where we are being disciplined train up body, mind and spirit. That means an excercise program in the gym, proper nutrition and rest, combined with the mental and spiritual disciplines of Bible study and much meditation and prayer. We also have to take care of each other, improve our loving each other, set our business on a godly course, take care of our staff and helpers and focus on loving people more. In our marraige we must practice what we preach.

Class of 2009/2010

To sum up, this year we are focusing on Life in the Spirit. We want to become possessed, so to speak by the Holy Spirit. We believe that is the ultimate success in this life. Then the power and person of Christ will do the work in and through us and our Father will be glorified. House Regeneration is to become known as the success story of this drug driven and demented city we live in.

Spirit controlled life.

Life controlled by flesh
