Xtreme Warriors

Well, we are getting this project off the ground step by step. This has to do with the previous blog and it relates directly to taking the war against drugs to the streets in a tactical and tangible way. As we speak members of a specialized unit of the Hawks are following up on Intel provided by our centre. As was in the past it is once more going to become policy that we will not take people in on the program unless they are prepared to divulge Intel on their suppliers. This serves two very important principles; it firstly tests their commitment towards their desire to come off drugs. Secondly it is a biblical truth that one has a responsibility towards the community to expose crime and corruption. An added bonus is that they dare not go back to their old connections because they helped us to bust them.
Offcourse there will be those who are critical of our standpoint stating that we should help anyone who needs help irrespective of their willingness to expose dealers. I have yet to see God breaking His principles to accommodate humanism. One cannot just walk away from criminal activities that you have been involved in yourself and not do something about it. This has been part of the reason that the drug problem has grown so much.

Then you are going to find the cowards who feel intimidated by criminals and they will also criticize this project. David the shepherd boy, was not intimidated by Goliath or the entire enemy army because he knew that God backs up those who, for righteous reasons stick their necks out. As we win one battle after the other, which we will, the public will get behind this project and we trust it will grow into a national movement. Injustuce and crime cannot prevail indefinetely. God will intervene by raising up godly warriors who will obey His call and raise up a banner!
I found this portion of Scripture very encouraging and inspiring!

Isa 59:11  We all roar like bears, and mourn grievously like doves; we look for judgment, but none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
Isa 59:12  For our transgressions are multiplied before You, and our sins testify against us. For our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
Isa 59:13  in transgressing and lying against Jehovah, and going away from our God, talking cruelty and revolt, conceiving and speaking from the heart words of falsehood.
Isa 59:14  And justice is driven back, and justice stands afar off; for truth has fallen in the street, and right cannot enter.
Isa 59:15  Yea, truth fails; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. And Jehovah saw, and it displeased Him that there was no judgment.
Isa 59:16  And He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore His own arm brought salvation to Him; and His righteousness sustained Him.
Isa 59:17  For He put on righteousness like a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on His head. And He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was covered with zeal like a cloak.
Isa 59:18  According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay; fury to His foes, deed for deed to His enemies. He will repay their deeds to the coastlands.
Isa 59:19  So they shall fear the name of Jehovah from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of Jehovah shall make him flee.
Isa 59:20  And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob, says Jehovah.
Isa 59:21  As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Jehovah; My Spirit that is on you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, says Jehovah, from now on and forever.

We have betrayed the Lord when we run off to men who profess to be healers of the mind, yet they deny God. We run towards doctors who prescribe more pills and drugs that mess up our minds even more than the street drugs.

Yet the Word of God is more than sufficient to cure us of our sinfulness. The minds of our youth are being attacked from both sides. On the street and in the clubs and malls by greedy street dealers and in the schools and the consulting rooms by irresponsible doctors and shrinks.

Drug abuse is a sin and those who make drugs available are even worse. For the moment we will concentrate on the illegal street dealers but sooner or later we are also going to take on the legal "medical" pushers!

Let's see what kind of response this posting will get.
